Praxis Reformer Pilates

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a safe and effective method of rehabilitation and exercise that focuses on muscular balance.  At Praxis Pilates, we incorporate a pilates reformer, a spring loaded bed like machine developed by Joseph Pilates over 90 years ago.

The reformer utilises body weight and resistance from the springs to give a uniquely challenging workout. Reformers parts are adjustable for differing body sizes and for differing levels of fitness. Combined with our expert Pilates instructors, Praxis Pilates offers a fun, yet challenging exercise experience.

What to expect?

Praxis Pilates caters for everyone, from beginner to advanced using the reformers. Praxis Pilates also can cater to those with injuries, pregnant and for those looking to return to exercise after an absence.

Pilates not only targets the larger muscle groups, but also the smaller postural muscles. These are the muscles that stabilise your back, pelvis and joints. This combination of working both the large and smaller muscles groups translates to maximum results fast.

Reformer Pilates classes are a fun and fantastic exercise option for everyone. Our skilled instructors will guide you through a series of exercises as a class that test your overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
