Stephen's combination of physiotherapy and exercise science makes him a 'one stop shop' on your rehabilitation journey. For the sporting population Stephen can manage you from acute injury management to return to sport and even enhanced performance as a titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. For those not in the sporting arena, Stephen aims to understand what is important to you and helps generate a plan to move forward together. It has been this approach that has yielded great success in treating chronic pain and disease. Success is achieved with hands on therapy, exercise prescription and education regarding your presenting complaint.
Stephen is an experienced and dedicated clinician. He thrives on making tangible improvements in people’s lives, be it sport, work or recreational pursuits. In addition to his clinic workload, Stephen is a consulting physiotherapist to professional sporting bodies such as Cricket Australia and QLD Cricket for both his strength and conditioning and physiotherapy expertise. He has oversight of the Aspley Hornets AFL football club men's program as director of athletic performance. Finally, he consults weekly at the Brisbane Knee and Shoulder Clinic for orthopaedic surgeon, Dr Kelly Macgroarty.
Stephen is a published researcher with several peer review articles and textbook chapters published in the physiotherapy and sports science field. He has lectured at conferences around the world in various disciplines and often supervises exercise science, strength coach and physiotherapy students.

The winning QLD U19s (2021) and U17 (2022) National Championships
Playing in the winning the Queensland Cricket Association 1st Grade 4-Day and One Day Finals for Toombul District Cricket Club.
His exposure to elite sport, personalised health, orthopaedic decision making, varied academic pursuits and clinical experiences has equipped him with the skills to effectively treat musculoskeletal pathologies in all populations. It is best summed up in his own words, "I treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, not musculoskeletal conditions in patients.
