Stephen's combination of physiotherapy, exercise science and personalised health makes him a 'one stop shop' on your rehabilitation journey. For the sporting population Stephen can manage you from acute injury management to return to sport and even enhanced performance. For those not in the sporting arena, Stephen incorporates the latest personalised health principles such as epigenetics and has had great success in treating chronic pain and disease.

Stephen is a passionately curious, experienced and dedicated clinician. He thrives on making tangible improvements in people’s lives, be it sport, work or recreational pursuits. In addition to his clinic workload, Stephen is also currently the Director of Athletic Performance for the Aspley Hornets NEAFL football club. This role manages a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, strength coaches, sports trainers, a GP and orthopaedic surgeon. He is also often contracted by professional sporting bodies such as Cricket Australia for both his strength and conditioning and physiotherapy expertise. 

Stephen is a published researcher with several peer review articles and textbook chapters published in the physiotherapy and sports science field. He has lectured at conferences around the world in various disciplines and often supervises exercise science, strength coach and physiotherapy students.  

Stephen has enjoyed playing many sports at a competitive level namely cricket, AFL and tennis. His career highlights thus far include working at the 2011 Cricket World Cup in India, helping the Aspley Hornets NEAFL team make the 2015 grand final, touring with the National Performance Squad and Australia A Cricket teams and winning the Queensland Cricket Association 1st Grade 4-Day and One Day Finals.

His exposure to elite sport, personalised health, varied academic pursuits and clinical experiences has equipped him with the skills to effectively treat musculoskeletal pathologies in all populations.
